Family Photography Rates

 

1 hour photo session in studio or on site

 

How it works and what you can expect:

 

Under normal circumstances we do these photoshoots in studio. If you want we can also shoot on location or come to your house.

 

You come to the studio "ready to shoot". This means that your make-up, hair and wardrobe needs to be prepared beforehand otherwise we waste valuable time in studio.You can bring up to 3 changes of clothes, accessories and/or props which will ensure a variety of images. We shoot as many images as possible. With family or couple shoots we do individual and group shots.We shoot all the images in high res RAW format. We use Canon 600D cameras, studio lights, reflectors and Canon lenses.

 

What happens after the shoot?

 

After the photoshoot, We do a digital capture were images are downloaded. We then go through them and select the best ones from the shoot.We develop the images. (cropping, colour balance and contrast check). We convert all the RAW images to TIFF, export them and burn them to a DVD disc. You get the best selection (between 30-50 images) in high res format.

Should you require any other editing, it will be charged at R50 excl VAT per image.

 

General:

Please note that if you are more than an hour in studio, you will be charged over time. It is tricky to photograph small children or pets. This may influence shooting time and the amount of final shots you receive. It is advisable to bring props and toys to try keep their focus.

Note that you use the facilities and the studio at your own risk and you are liable for loss, damage, injury or death. Sumthin Studios will not be liable for such.

 

Rates:

 

1 hour studio session:

Selection of 30-50 images in high res TIFF on disc with basic edit.

1 hour studio session + Advanced editing:

20 images in digital format on disc with advanced editing. Editing will include cropping, colour balance and contrast check, skin smoothing, removal of unwanted marks and blemishes.

A maximum of 10 minutes will be spent on each image.
